Ongoing Care
Nothing goes quiet the week after you go live.
Every website ages the same way: one unmade update at a time. The staff page still lists someone who retired two years ago. The holiday hours from last December. A price that changed in the spring. None of it is neglect — it's that updating a website is nobody's job at a funeral home, and it shouldn't have to be.
What this is
Everything after launch. Hosting. Edits. GPL updates. New staff photos, changed hours, small fixes, the occasional "can we add a page for this." And a person who answers — Rozlyn, the same one you've talked to since the first call.
Why it matters
A site stays true one update at a time, and a website is only as trustworthy as its most out-of-date page. Ongoing Care is also how we stay accountable to what we shipped — we don't hand you a site and a goodbye.
How it works
- You send the change; we make it. Most edits are same-week, many same-day.(Response terms in your agreement — ask Rozlyn for specifics.)
- Hosting and the technical upkeep are ours to worry about. Eric keeps things running; you'll rarely need to know how.
- It's an arrangement you can leave. Your site, your domain, your content — always yours. We keep clients by being worth keeping, not by holding the keys.
When to start here
When you already have a site you basically like, and what's missing is a person behind it.
What good looks like
Your staff stops saying "we should really update the website," because it's simply current.
